Many patients at Bond Dental want a clean and bright-looking smile. Discolouration and staining of teeth can happen naturally over time, and can also be worsened by certain drinks, such as coffee or red wine. Smoking can also change the colour of teeth very gradually.

We have a number of Teeth Whitening treatments available at Bond Dental which are undertaken using different applications. Our options range from Boutique Whitening, where teeth whitening trays are worn overnight to whiten teeth gradually, to Laser Whitening, where the teeth are treated with a laser-activated bleaching gel.

We want to provide our patients with a range of treatments which fits their needs and preferences, and we are always happy to discuss options with you.

These peroxide-based Whitening Treatments work in a similar way to other bleaching methods which are applied in the clinic but are a more affordable option.

As one of the leading developers of cosmetic whitening products, Enlighten is a brand recognised by Dental Professionals all over the world, including here at Bond Dental. With their Dentist-led whitening method, Enlighten’s Evolution™ process combines clinic-based management with an easy to use home treatment.

If you are considering whitening your teeth using Enlighten’s Evolution™ method, our General Dentist will see you for a full examination and health check of your teeth and gums. A mould of your teeth will be taken so your whitening trays can be customised to fit your mouth, and you will begin using Enlighten tooth serum to prepare your teeth.

Once your dental whitening trays are ready, and after a few weeks’ use of your Enlighten serum, our Dentist will provide you with the next stage of Enlighten whitening gel to use at home. Once you have used your whitening trays overnight as directed, the final stage will be completed back in the clinic with an intensive treatment, carried out by your Dentist.

Enlighten’s Evolution™ is a whitening treatment option which combines the convenience of a Home-Based Whitening Treatment with the guidance of a General Dentist. For this reason, it can be a suitable cosmetic whitening option for patients who feel they would benefit from the additional support of a Dental Professional during the process.

P O L A ™

Bond Dental offers the Pola™ method to help brighten heavily stained teeth. After an exam, we take an impression of your teeth. The lab technicians create custom mouth trays that you take home with you. You fill the trays with the Pola whitening solution, place the trays over your teeth, and wear them at a convenient time each day for thirty minutes. After about ten days, you should notice a considerable difference in your teeth’s colouring, with even the darkest stains becoming considerably lighter. Pola™ is portable so you can continue your treatment while on holiday or a business trip.

P H I L L I P S ™   Z O O M   W H I T E S P E E D

Available at Bond Dental, Phillips™ Zoom WhiteSpeed is a light-activated whitening system that is performed by your Dental Professional here at the clinic. Performed using Phillips™ proprietary LED lamp which has an adjustable intensity, your teeth can be whitened in as little as one 60-minute session. Our Dental professionals will apply a protective spray to your gums before a peroxide gel, with added pH booster, is used to prepare your teeth. You will be given protective eyewear; the Zoom WhiteSpeed technology accelerates the whitening process. After your teeth are treated with the LED lamp in the clinic, patients are provided with an aftercare kit to take home and complete the treatment. Soothing gel is applied overnight to decrease sensitivity, making sure you feel comfortable following your procedure.

At Bond Dental we are committed to offering various treatments which meet people’s different needs. Many patients prefer to undergo tooth whitening under the guidance of a Dental Professional rather than using Home-Based Whitening Treatments. This gives patients peace of mind that the whitening process can be overseen by someone experienced and who can support them with any issues or concerns.

Patients who undergo In Chair Power Bleaching at Bond Dental will be fully taken care of by our Dental Professionals throughout the process. They can reapply the whitening gel at appropriate intervals throughout your session. To allow for your maximum comfort, you will be given a protective rubber dam for your mouth and gums.

Your Dental Professional can also check the whiteness of your teeth during the treatment, which means you have more control over the result you want to achieve.
